In the early 1980’s when our company was just beginning, our leadership and staff were creating an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) platform from the ground up. We had humble beginnings but we had a wealth of talent, heart and strategy.
All of us were excited to “Build What Comes to PAS”. At every turn, we celebrated the excellent reputation we were building together as a team. “Taking Care of the People Who Take Care of the People” became our internal slogan of hope for continued growth and dedication to service excellence. We had a shared vision and purpose. The contributions made by each and every PAS employee truly made a difference.
Our business has grown and thrived ever since! While we have tremendously broadened our service delivery platform over the years, we have never moved away from how and why we serve people the way we do. Every single day, the people of PAS measurably improve lives by personally providing encouragement, support and resources.
Today we cover hundreds of thousands of people working in virtually every industry across the U.S. Our domestic network of licensed behavioral health professionals has grown to 57,000 and our international reach has grown to 160 countries. We are blessed to have hundreds of employers place their trust in us to serve as their EAP partner. We serve the people of PAS and our clients exceptionally well and we are very grateful for our 98%+ account retention rate.

Founder and CEO
PAS’ Trivia Team helped the St. Louis CISM team raise funds for trauma education and support for emergency responders. We have specialized in serving police, fire and EMS organizations since 1982.
PAS assembled and delivered goodie bags filled with clothing, books, stuffed animals, toys, and notes of encouragement to young, impoverished mothers. At Almost Home, moms learn life skills to become self-sufficient and provide a brighter future for their children.
In addition to the donations we make to homeless centers for people, PAS donates bedding, toys and snacks to animal rescue centers. We also provide resilience building support for the staff of these centers during times of crisis and loss.
PAS staff and their families enjoyed assembling reading buddy kits as part of our annual company picnic festivities. Each kit included personally-stuffed and sewn huggable animals, children’s books, healthy snacks and a hand-written personal note to the recipient. PAS partnered with United Way to distribute our reading buddies to child service agencies throughout the region.
PAS staff supports “Back to School Store” sponsored by the National Council for Jewish Women. Our donations help to provide brand new school clothes and supplies for over 1000 needy kids at the Store plus about 300 more living in shelters.
PAS staff members contributed to the 4th annual Grandview Teen Leadership Conference, an all-day event that offers opportunities for area teens to learn leadership and work-life skills from experts representing a wide variety of professions. PAS staff led sessions on Nonverbal Communication, Stress Management, Preparing for College, and Choosing a Career. PAS also supported the conference with an in-kind donation of printing services.
