Women’s Health Research Institute: Northwestern University has information and online tools on menopause, resources for cancer survivors on fertility options, monthly newsletters, and more.
My Family Health Portrait allows users to answer a series of questions about their histories and their family histories of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, breast cancer, colon cancer and ovarian cancer. They also can provide additional information on other diseases they or their family members have. The online tool then creates charts of users’ family health histories, which users can save to their own computers, share with family members or print out for physicians.
