Our Team
About Our Team
Our services are delivered through our diverse team of licensed/certified counseling, life management and well-being experts and managed by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced EAP professionals in the business. All PAS clinical managers are Certified Employee Assistance Professionals (CEAPs) each with more than 20 years of EAP experience.
As a recognized leader in the field, PAS was one of three EAPs selected to scientifically validate the Workplace Outcomes Suite (WOS) developed by Chestnut Global Partners (CGP) Division of Commercial Science. The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) has endorsed the WOS as an EAP best practice for measuring and evaluating work-related outcomes.
Our Therapy Dogs
Our youngest 4-legged counselor is an adorable, very smart yellow Labrador Retriever who was bred from Hannah’s lines. She has a lot of happy energy coupled with a calm and peaceful presence. She earned her American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen certification at four and half months of age.
A blue merle Australian shepherd, Blue has joined PAS as a differently-abled therapy dog. As a result of irresponsible breeding, Blue developed progressive blindness with very limited eyesight. Without missing a beat, Blue has adapted and finds his way to those he greets by sound and smell. Originally trained as an assist dog, he has an irrepressible spirit and is eager to please. He is a reminder that our ability to enjoy life and live out our purpose is not determined by the obstacles and challenges we encounter, but by how we “see” ourselves.
Dixon’s early years were rough. A small long-haired dachsund mix, he was discarded as a puppy and then temporarily adopted into a chaotic home where the other dogs picked on him and broke his ribs. He was very timid and fearful when he first came to his forever home but he has become a living example of the healing power of a stable home, patience, safe relationships and the determination to overcome adversity. He learned how to work as a therapy dog from Hannah and is now a favorite with children and special needs clients who visit our offices. His peaceful, happy nature and enthusiasm in doing “tricks for treats” bring a smile to both clients and staff alike.
A beautiful yellow labrador with a gentle, comforting presence and a magnetic personality, Hannah was our first 4-legged counselor at PAS. Her mother was a therapy dog, her father was a champion duck hunter and she had the best of both of them in her looks, intelligence and manner. Hannah touched everyone she met with her special ability to read people and their feelings and to know exactly what to do to make things better. Whether it be a wagging tail greet, her head in your lap, or laying at your feet, Hannah understood people and could communicate with them better than most humans.
